Boys In Branson In May

Pop and Nan picked up Devin and Hailey on Mother's Day morning and took off for a Boys day in Branson.
Elijah had brought his Wii so they tried it out in the car.
And when we got to the resort at the Falls, they were amazed at the huge flat screen TVs and set it up in the livingroom....but it would not play in color so Elijah took it down.
On Sunday afternoon, we tried out the indoor pool (the outside one was not open yet.)
We watched while they did bomb jumps.

Monday the 14th was to be an entire day at Silver Dollar City.  Elijah was trying to be patient while Pops and Devin looked at knives.   His goal was the rides.

So the first one was the Wildfire.  No way could Elijah get Devin on this ride.
So Elijah went alone.  That is him on the second row on the left with the white shirt on.  He is grinning big time.
And then there was the barn swing.  Still Devin would not ride the rides.  See Elijah about 5th over from the right.
That swing did go very high!

Finally, we found something Devin would do.....the Silo pull.

Wood Crafts -- Papa's love!

And the boys did do the plunge and they did get wet.
Then Elijah rode the Wildfire a second time -- by himself still!
He decided to buy a shirt.

We visited Dicks 5 & 10 Store in Old Branson.
And we ran into President Obama at Dicks 5 & 10.

For dinner on Monday night, we tried out Mel's Hard Luck Diner.

The boys slept on the hide-a-bed and said it was good.

The porch was Devin's favorite room in the apartment.
Time to getup o n Tuesday morning.  We are going to the Titanic Museum today.

The last thing before we left for home on Tuesday was the ZipLine at the Shepherd of the Hills.  Elijah on left, Devin on the right.

Lunch at the Olive Garden for soup and salad before the 3 1/2 hour drive home.  We all had fun.
