Sydney's Art

While all the family was here, one of the grandkids drew this photo and it was put on my refrigerator. But I don't know who drew it. Will the real artist please stand up!

Sydney's Story: Snails, Slugs and Jelly Monsters

Once there was a little snail named Uggie.
He wanted to go to school but school was over

So, he went to Oraqkta (Iraq???)

And he saw some other snails playing out in the back yard feeling lonely.
But the Mommies' snail came and the little snails were all alone up in a tree.
But he
couldn't do anything because his ears were stuck.

They went to the cake store and ate all the cake and then
they saw another little cake,
but it was too tiny, anyway they just ate it.
A small slug ate it because he loved it.

Then, there was a giant, giant, giant, giant monster who was a jelly monster.

ELLIE THE JELLY MONSTER, loved to eat slugs. She ate a slug: she caught a lot of slugs to share with everyone who did not have a slug. The Jelly Monster ate all of them.

The Jelly Monster was too fast so they ate and ate all the slugs.
Except one was feeling bad because he got chewed on a little bit.
Then he just ate: slurp, slurp, slurp, slurp ......
Then the little slug cried saying booo hooooo sob sob ..............

The sound bite of Sydney ran out so this is the End!

The Big, Big, Big, Big Bunny and Sassy Billy the Monkey

There was a monkey named Billy.
And Billy one time met a big, big, big, big bunny.
The big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big bunny said:
"Hey you need to go to the jungle."
And Billy said: 'NO, I'M NOT GOING TO THE JUNGLE.'
And the big, big, big, big, big, big bunny said:
"What are you thinking, you need to go to the jungle because that's where monkeys live."
Then Billy said: "NO"
Then the big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big bunny said:
"You need to go there or else you aare going to die."
And he asked how old are you.
And the Monkey said he was 95 years old and "NO, I'M NOT GOING TO THE JUNGLE."
The bunny said alright, but you can only stay for lunch.
And he said 'WHAT!"
So they went and had lunch. and then he said Let's go.
And Billy said 'NO, I AM GOING HOME.'
After a few more birthday partys, Billy was 99 years old.
The Bunny said, I'm going to do something, I'm going to shorten him up.
So when Billy said it is my birthday today, instead of putting 100 candles on his cake, the bunny put 99 candles on and he shortened a bit. Then he put 98 candles on and on until he was 95 years old again.
Then the Bunny said: "You are going to have to go to Africa."
So they went to Africa and stayed for three weeks.
Then when they came back , he met a very dangerous crazy cat.
If you meet one of those dangerous crazy cats, you have to be a goose and would have to stay like that forever.
The End.

Cousins Time Together

Sydney is very proud of her new baby sister, Blakely. Here they are in matching dresses.

Sydney
shows us how she can wink.
During the picture taking, the other cousins wait patiently. Mommie Sommer says this is a terrible picture of 'ME"

Ava and Carson Go To The Zoo

The first time Ava ever stood in this form, she was very small. Soon she will fill it out completely.
And Carson may grow even faster than his big sister.
These lions were too hot to sit on. Carson tried but....no way!

Mommie braves the hot tub with Carson the giant, heap big spalsher.

Blakely Meets GlowWorm

Carson has never "held a real live baby before" he said and he brought a GlowWorm for baby Blakely who is 10 weeks old. She really does like it a lot. Carson did a great job of holding the happy Blakely. And Ava was doing a great job holding GlowWorm up for Blakely.
