Tulsa State Fair

I don't have any great desire to go to the Tulsa State Fair.  I took my kids for many years and then went with the grandkids several years.  But now, I just like to hear about their experiences at the fair and how much fun they had.  This year The Scharpfs and Scrivner kids went with their Moms.  These photos were from April.  Maybe Bonita will share some with me also.

April said she wanted to sit in the vibrator chairs so badly but the kids always got there first.  Finally she kicked them out.  But the highlight of the entire day was in the children's barn with the building blocks.
Lily, Elijah and home school friends decided to enclose Rosie in a tower.

Devin showed up for a few minutes, and then was off again.

Who Remembers This Big Occasson?

Papa found these pictures today and I just had to share them.  Not all of you were born at this time.  It was December, 2003.  And it was Ava's First Birthday Party.
Ridding on Daddy's Shoulder
I think Ava might have worn the same birthday hat for many years.

And can this possible be Papa's first Yorkie, DUKE?
Two Babies Meeting Each Other

I did not see Hailey in any of the Birthday photos but here she is a few days later when we took her Christmas Gift to her.  This is at Hailey's home at Christmas.

Aunt Sommer Sent Me This Photo

Carson and Ava read the entire Little House On The Prairie series over the summer.  While we were at Sunset Beach with them in June, we read some of the stories.  I love those books!
Now they have Laura's Recipe book and Aunt Sommer has posted  a blueberry pudding  recipe on

Hailey is Crowned Honor Star Missionette in Oklahoma City

Yesterday, Hailey's Mom took her to Oklahoma City for her coronation.  After a fun time in the Hotel, they  had the big ceremony.  Hailey had to pass a lot of test to be an Honor Star.

There were lots of girls in white dresses -- but only two from her church, Eastland Assembly of God.
Momma was very proud of her girl!

When Hailey's name was called, she walks forward in her white gown to be crowned.

After ariving home, Momma takes a Daddy photo.

Devin and Hailey in Galveston Texas

Every year Hailey has to travel with her Mom to Galveston Texas to the Shriner Burn Hospital to have her feet checked.   At some point Hailey will need more surgery.  But not this summer!  So after the doctor appointment, Devin and Hailey had a visit to the Gulf Ocean before returning to Tulsa.
