Kayla and the Scharpf Cats

It was Lily's Birthday Party. Kayla found the cats in Elijah's room and bedded down with them as she created friendships. One problem here ..... isn't Kayla allergic to cats?

Thank you for taking us to the Cheesecake Factory

......:we had a lot of fun. You are the best Nana and Papa in the world. We love you very, very, very much, From Elijah.
Elijah often does his art in 3-dimension made with many different objects. Here is a couple samples of Elijah's paper quillin. The card was a thank you note and the flower was a hanging ornament at Christmas time. 2008 when Elijah was 10 years ole.

Thank you for the Dinner ..... from Rosemary

I probably have received the most art from the Scharpf children .... but much of it was larger or in 3-D so it is not scanned for this site. But here is Rosie's art and thank you note from October, 2008 when she was six. Isn't it beautiful!

Dear Nana & Pops .... I like your Hot Tub

Here are some sample collections of Ava's art when she was age four and perhaps five. Ava was 'almost' born with pencil and colors and paper in her hand. You can click on to make larger to read her self expressed letter to us when she was four.
So now we need more art from other Grandchildren. Come help me out.

Kayla Tells A Delicious Story

At Lily's My Little Pet Shop party, Kayla tells a story of her favorite Little Pet Shop Character. It was an 'exclusive' Bat who was named Kayla. Everyone loved Kayla's story. Who can remember the details of the story? Fill in the blanks on the comment spot. Or better yet, Kayla, would you tell us the story again ..... please ........

Come On and Shout

Sydney was participating in the Park Jazz Festival at the Broken Arrow Central Park when the next song was Come on and Shout. July, 2008

The Scharpf Children were there also but Sydney was the one to participate with such gusto. There were also popsicles, snow cones, popcorn, playground fun as well as music on this hot July evening.

Thanks for the evening at Discoveryland, Oklahoma

Devin does great work. Here is work from Devin at age 11 in July, 2008 when we all went to see the drama Oklahoma, at Discoveryland and we rode horses, ate a cowboy dinner and had ice cream and popcorn. It was verrrrryyyyy hot but also very fun.

Summer Time on Grandma's Steps

This picture taking session was in July, 2008 and all the girls had new sundresses while the boys had new shirts. The sunglasses added a final touch.
